Music has been a hobby of mine since I was young. My main focus was the violin, but while raising my 4 children my focus changed to simply having musical fun with my children. Through watching them, I learned the value of music for young children and the way that it can benefit them in so many important ways. Since then, I have received specific training about how musical learning impacts brain development and supports all forms of learning in young children. I previously was certified to teach the Sound Beginnings curriculum, and recently became trained to teach the worldwide Music Together®  program. Now my favorite way to engage in music is to use it to benefit the young children and their families in my community. It is a joy for me to use music to support their development and growth!
